Troop 454 is a Girl Troop serving Channahon/Minooka and the surrounding area. We are chartered by the Rainbow Council of the Boy Scouts of America's Family Scouting Program. The Girl Troop programming is the same programming that the Boy Troops have enjoyed for many years. That means lots of fun outdoors, camping, hiking, canoeing, backpacking, etc. as well as summer camp and, for the older girls, high adventure camps like Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base and The Summit. There will be lots of skill development, merit badges, service to the community, and learning and practicing leadership skills. And, yes, all the same rank advancement, up to and including the Eagle Scout rank.

We meet Thursdays during the school year at 6:30 at the Channahon United Methodist Church.
